Halsted School has more busy weeks

Newton - Monday, Feb. 26 starts “love of reading week,” a very important week for kids and teachers. Thursday, March 1 and Friday, March 2 are language arts quarterly. Friday, March 2 also is community service day for the National Junior Honor Society, play rehearsal is from 2:30 to 5 p.m., Mrs. Nazzaro’s trip to Fairview, and the progress reports go home. On Friday, March 9, the “love of reading weeks” end. That is also the night of the eighth grade tricky tray at Merriam Avenue.
