Hardyston - On Sunday, Oct. 15, Frank Memelo of Hardyston had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shoot photographs from the sidelines like a professional sports photographer during the New York Jets-Miami Dolphins game as part of Canon’s ‘Shoot Like a Pro’ Sweepstakes. Memelo, 44, is a fleet manager for Panasonic and had New York Jets team photographer Al Pereira by his side throughout, offering advice, suggestions and tips on how to shoot action sports photographs. Memelo has been a die-hard Jets fan for the past 34 years. Canon developed some of the top shots taken throughout the day and posted them on the team’s official Web site. In addition to shooting from the sidelines, Memelo received two tickets to the game, post-game access to the team press conference, a Canon EOS Rebel XTi camera kit, and Canon 10x30 Image Stabilizer binoculars. Throughout the season, Canon will be selecting 72 winners representing nine NFL teams. Each team will host a winner at each of its eight home games throughout the season. Fans can log onto their team’s official Web site to enter the contest.
