Hilltop Country Day School students help BARKS
| 29 Sep 2011 | 11:29

Sparta - The fourth grade students in Janet Vigeland’s and Eric Bartholomew’s classes at Hilltop Country Day School presented a check for $390 to Cheryl Monteleone, a representative from BARKS - Byram Animal Rescue Kindness Squad, Inc. The students made holiday gift bags for family pets and sold them at the school. Included in the bags were milk bones, cat food and bird seed, and they finished them off with name tags and ribbon and sold them for $3 each. They worked in an assembly line manner at school to put the bags together and delivered the bags themselves. All of the proceeds from the project were donated to BARKS.
