Quarterback Eugene McGuire added TD strikes of 30 and 44 yards to Theo Lusardi in the second quarter. Newton’s Steve Zander returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown and flipped a 10-yard touchdown pass to Jared Zappa.
