Hospital offers programs

NEWTON - Newton Memorial Hospital will hold a daytime “Diabetes Support Group” meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Newton Memorial, 175 High St. The subject of the meeting will be “Know Your Numbers. The front desk at the main hospital entrance will direct you to the correct conference room. A second program is for those who are expecting and worried whether their child will be able to adjust to a new little brother or sister. The “Sibling Preparation” program will be held at Newton Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, Jan. 21 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The class includes a tour of the Single-Room Maternity Unit. Once again, the hospital is offering an eight-week “Mixed Level Yoga” series between 7 and 8:20 p.m. from Jan. 8 to Feb. 26 at the hospital.
