It's Italian. It's garlic. It's fun.

Lafayette - The Olde Lafayette Village joined with DASI (Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Intervention) this past weekend to host the Garlic/Italian Festival. Farmers from around the area came together to offer their products to the public and in the process help DASI by donating 10 percent of their taking to the organization which helps victims of domestic abuse rebuild their lives. “All of today’s donations will go to the emergency relief fund,” said Annette McDonald, director of community relations for DASI in Sussex County. “Anytime the community embraces a cause it shows a level of understanding of the families who need and seek our services,” she added. Visitors from the tri-state area enjoyed the many vendors and quaint setting of Lafayette Village on a picture perfect autumn weekend. For more information on DASI, call 973-579-3277 or call the 24-hour hotline at 973-875-1211. All DASI victim services are free and confidential.
