K.E.E.P.'s new building nearly ready to provide infant and toddler care
Community help needed for last terms SPARTA Only six months after breaking ground, K.E.E.P.’s new 7,150-square-foot facility, located off of White Lake Road in Sparta, is getting ready to open and enrollment is already underway. According to Tricia A. Smith, C.E.O. of K.E.E.P., Inc., the move to the new and larger facility reflects the continued growth of our community as well as the increased need for quality childcare. “This new building will help us reach our potential,” she observed. “It will afford us the opportunity to offer enhanced infant and toddler care as well as more comprehensive elementary-aged care inclusive of snow day care, holiday care, and other unique and otherwise unaddressed care situations.” Now, K.E.E.P. is appealing to the community for assistance in adding the final touches to the building. One major need at this time is for the construction of a quality playground that meets all safety standards for children between the ages of 5 and 12, which comes at a cost in excess of $35,000. K.E.E.P., Inc., a nonprofit agency, is the largest childcare provider in Sussex County. To make a contribution today, call 973-729-6474 or log on to www.keepkids.org.
