During a recent visit to the Fischer & Son Sawmill on Route 206 in Andover, seven Tiger scouts from Byram Cub Scouts Pack 276, Den 2, “saw” that wood boards don’t originate at Home Depot, but from trees that are harvested, debarked, planed, sanded and dried before making their way as lumber to area retailers.
