Breast Cancer Awareness Faculty, staff and administration teamed up to help breast cancer research by donating money on National Denim Day, October 8. Over $685 were raised, according to Mrs. Janet Bardello, project coordinator and advisor of Lenape's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). The money goes to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Spirit Week Canned Food Drive Beginning a new Lenape Valley spirit week tradition, the school collected over 800 cans, boxes and containers of food for the local charities the Sussex chapter of Meals on Wheels. The Freshman class was named Spirit Week winners at the annual fall pep rally for donating the most items to the worthy cause.
