Lewis named chairman of Sussex County development board
Newton - The 2006 Board of Trustees of the Sussex County Economic Development Partnershiphas named Glenn Lewis as its chairman. Lewis has been the public affairs manager for Sprint since September of 1987 and sits on the boards of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce; Sussex County Economic Development Partnership, Inc.; United Way of Sussex County; SC Arts & Heritage Council; Warren County Community College Foundation; Warren County Chamber’s Leadership Warren; and the Morris/Sussex/Warren Workforce Investment Board. Lewis also volunteers for the business advisory council for the Samaritan Inn and chairs the Sussex-Warren ELC and the Member Communications Services Committee for the New Jersey Utilities Association in Trenton. His past board involvement has included the March of Dimes, The Center for Prevention and Counseling, Walk-America, Pass-it-Along, and others. He and his wife, Maureen, have been married for 35 years, have two grown children, and live in Sparta’s Seneca Lake section.
