Library book sale coming up

    Donations welcome; see details The Friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library will hold their fall used book sale on Friday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A $2 bag sale will be held on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. Customers are encouraged to bring their own recyclable bags to the sale. Donations for the sale can be dropped off from Saturday, Oct. 8 through Wednesday, Oct. 12, during regular library hours. Due to limited storage, donors are asked to wait until Oct. 8 to bring in donations. Donations should be packed in small boxes or double-strength grocery bags. The following items in good condition are suitable for donation: children’s and adult books (paperback and hardcover); DVDs; audio books; music CDs and cassettes. Not acceptable: encyclopedias, textbooks, condensed books; magazines; any items in poor condition. The Sussex-Wantage Library is located at 69 Route 639 in Wantage.
