Living wills, topic of upcoming presentation

    SPARTA - The Sparta Health & Wellness Center will host a panel of health care professionals who will discuss the difference and the importance of Living Wills and Advance Directives. Admission to this event is free. The panel will be comprised of Rosamond Lockwood, administrator of community benefits program; Nancy English, director of critical care/telemetry, and the Reverend Randolph Parks, director of pastoral care. Among the topics to cover are: Advance Directives, Living Wills, Healthcare Proxy and power of attorney, and identify keys. Available at no charge will be a booklet entitled Newton Memorial Hospital's Making Your Health Care Wishes Known and samples of Health Care Proxy documents and Advance Directives. The Program will be held starting at 7 p.m., September 21, at the Sparta Health & Wellness Conference Room, 89 Sparta Avenue, Sparta. Pre-register by calling 973-579-8340.
