ANDOVER — Dr. Michael T. Ward and his staff recently celebrated an official ribbon cutting at their new office in Andover. “It’s great to see a resident open a business in town,” said Mayor Michael Lensak, who cut the ribbon. Ward, his wife Jennifer, and their children have lived in Andover for the past 10 years. The practice has been operating out of the 61 Newton-Sparta Road location since October 2011 and was originally located in Sparta, opening there in 1993. The new facility has ample parking and handicapped accessible. The practice specializes in general and family dental care, digital x-rays, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, appliances, oral surgery and endodontics. The office is also open for same day emergencies. The practice participates in several dental plans, including Delta Dental, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare, and will work with non-participating plans as well. Office hours are Mondays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays by appointment.
