Augusta — The New Jersey State Fair and Sussex County Farm and Horse Show opened on Friday August 3, and the talents of local residents went on display. Entrants of all ages were vying for ribbons in disciplines ranging from fine art to animal husbandry, and much of the early judging was done over the first weekend. Many of the entries will be available to view through the end of the Fair, on Sunday August 12.
