Brownies donate to BARKS

Brownie Troop 4918 of Byram took up a collection of supplies to benefit BARKS, the Byram Animal Rescue and Kindness Squad located behind the Byram Municipal buildings.

The Brownies are working on their Philanthropist and Pet Care Badges.

Trish Ryan, a representative for BARKS, accepted the donation from the troop and spent time with the girls discussing pet care and answering questions about BARKS.

Vincent Van Gogh, affectionately known as "the Bean" is an 11 year old mixed breed dog who was adopted after being rescued and loved spending time with the troop to help them earn their badges.
