Byram update: Second hike ahead with Byram Mayor
Byram. Updates include; Residents are encouraged to sign up for email alerts, the Township is holding a second hike with the Mayor, and the next Council meetings will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov 4, 2019 and Monday, Nov 18, 2019.
The mayor will once again be hiking with residents, this time beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov 3. The 2-hour hike will begin and end at the trailhead located at Salt, 109 Rt. 206. Along with Mayor Alex Rubenstein, hikers will also have the chance to get acquainted with Dr. Noha Eltaki and Robert Adams of the Atlantic Health System, who will be opening a new facility at the ShopRite Plaza in Byram. The clinic will feature primary care physicians, a laboratory, and will also accept walk-in urgent care patients. Meeting dates moved
The Byram Township Council will not be meeting on its regular Tuesdays for the month of November due to scheduling conflicts. Residents are advised that council meetings will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov 4, 2019 and Monday, Nov 18, 2019. The meetings will both take place at the municipal building and are open to the public.

Byram residents and area commuters are encouraged to sign up for the Nixle Community Alert System, which sends real-time notifications about traffic, weather, cancellations, and other breaking community news. Employment opening
Byram Township is hiring for part-time clerical work in the financial office, including light bookkeeping, data entry, and customer service. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
