County chamber welcomes new members
Newton — The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce welcomed ten new companies to membership in the Chamber at a recent Business to Business Breakfast held at the Lafayette House in Lafayette. The new members include:

• High Point Solutions, Inc., Sparta, NJ (Computer Products/Systems/Services/Security)
• Legal Nurse LLC, Sparta, NJ (Health Care Services)
• Northeastern Spine & Physical Therapy LLC, Hamburg, NJ (Health Care Services)
• Recollectables, LLC, Newton, NJ (Retail)
• Team W, Ogdensburg, NJ (Real Estate)
• Vaughan Sealcoating & Paving LLC, Andover, NJ (Asphalt/Paving)
• VisionThat Consulting, LLC, Newton, NJ (Marketing Consultants)
New members have many different reasons for joining. “We joined the Chamber to be able to learn from those businesses in the county that we really respected,” said new member Ryan Stapel, owner of ReCollectables in Newton. “As small business owners, we know our interests are well served and our voices louder as members of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce.”
Tammie Horsfield, President of the Sussex County Chamber of Chamber agrees. “As members, area businesses have access to a multitude of benefits including networking events, seminars, professional development, six local Chamber Councils, and marketing and promotional opportunities.”
It was this aspect of the Chamber that appealed to Brian Vaughn of Vaughan Sealcoating & Paving LLC. “A few weeks ago I was having marketing materials produced by a local graphic designer and he told me about the Chamber of Commerce. It sounded like a great opportunity to meet people in the community so I joined without hesitation.” Continuing, Vaughn said, “My brother and partner, Jason Vaughn, and I are very excited to meet new people and work together in our community.”
Members can also get involved with the Chamber’s numerous committees including Government/Legislative Affairs, Human Resources Development, Women in Business and Young Professionals. Committee participation offers a good way for company representatives to have a voice in the activities of the Chamber and to network with peers.
New member Chiara Ventriglia of Cutting Crew in Newton was impressed with both the number of attendees at the breakfast - over 200 - and their interest in what event sponsors Andersen Farms and Eastern Propane presented. Andersen Farms introduced its CSA program and new building in Sparta, while Eastern Propane used the speaking opportunity to promote Sussex County trails and the Chamber’s Trails Partnership committee. Said Ventriglia,“It was absolutely incredible to see so many people come together, not only to promote their businesses, but to help out the environment too!”
