Dog of the Week: Copper

Meet Copper Dawson from Eleventh Hour Rescue. Copper is a handsome Pit Bull Terrier mix who is about 1 year old. Copper once had a family of his own but was surrendered to Eleventh Hour Rescue through no fault of his own. He is housetrained, crate-trained, and has had basic obedience training. Copper loves learning and is very eager to please. He can be fearful at times while outside of the home so he needs someone who has dog experience and will work with him on trust. Copper currently lives in a foster home with 5 other dogs and gets along well with them. But he does need a slower introduction to new dogs and time to adjust to his new friends. Copper prefers a home with older, more considerate children.
