Dr. Wendy Turner joins Andover Animal Hospital

ANDOVER — Dr. Wendy Turner has joined Dr. Harvey Hummel and Dr. Shelley Parker as the third full-time veterinarian at Andover Animal Hospital in Newton.

She joined Andover as a part-time associate in May 2013. Dr. Turner obtained her bachelor's degrees in biology from the University of Colorado, and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Colorado State University in 2002.

Dr. Turner is bringing her expertise in canine and feline medicine, with an emphasis on cats, exclusively to Andover Animal Hospital. Dr. Turner is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the AVMA. She will be continuing Andover's very popular "Cat Club" community seminar series with her next presentation topic, "Care of the Senior Cat", in early March.
