Eagle Scout recognized at court of honor

ANDOVER — Brendan Karolchyk, 15, was recognized at an Eagle Court of Honor held at Harmony Lodge No. 8 in Andover Township on January 8.
Brendan is a member of Boy Scout Troop 81 in Andover. He is the son of Doreen Bedell and Scott Karolchyk.
Brendan earned his new rank at his Eagle Board of Review on November 20. In addition to earning 25 merit badges, Brendan completed an Eagle Project which involved building a multi-use storage shed for the K9 Search & Rescue Unit of the Union County Sheriff's Office.
Brendan is a freshman at Pope John XXIII Regional High School in Sparta.
