Foli becomes Eagle Scout
ANDOVER-NEWTON. For his Eagle project, he restored the marquee sign of the First Presbyterian Church of Newton.

Joe Foli is the newest Eagle Scout in Troop 85 of Andover-Newton.
For his Eagle project, he restored the marquee sign of the First Presbyterian Church of Newton.
Foli is a 2025 graduate of Sussex County Technical School. In the fall, he plans to pursue a career in the U.S. Navy.
He has earned 30 merit badges and the National Outdoor Award for Camping. He accumulated 80 nights of camping, also earning the Degree of Frost Award.
Foli participated in numerous high adventure hikes, totaling more than 100 miles, and has been on multiple high adventure trips in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, reaching the summit of multiple peaks including Mount Washington three times.
He has been patrol leader and assistant senior patrol leader. He also completed National Youth Leadership Training and served on staff for Patriots Path Council.
He is a member of Woapalanne Lodge 43 of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s honor society.
