Free clinic offered in Newton

NEWTON — The Free Clinic Newton is now open for patient care on Monday and Thursday evenings 6 to 8 p.m., and also will be open on occasional Saturday mornings 9 to 11 a.m. for walk-in patients.

Located at the Newton Moose Lodge on the corner of Spring St. and Diller Ave., east of downtown near Camp Illiff, the Free Clinic Newton provides routine and some urgent care to Sussex County citizens without insurance or unable to afford medical care elsewhere.

The Free Clinic Newton began serving the community since mid-2012 and is staffed by volunteer physicians, nurses, medical technicians and local citizens.
