Kittatinny Student nominated for DAR citizenship award
Newton. Kittatinny Regional High School student Lillian Gallant was named the school’s Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship Award nominee for exemplifying dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.

 Lillian Gallant, a student at Kittatinny Regional High School, has been selected as the school’s Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship Award nominee.
A history enthusiast with top marks in her AP History course, Gallant exemplifies the values of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
The Daughters of the American Revolution established the award and essay contest in 1934 to encourage and reward good citizenship. Gallant now has the option to continue in the DAR Scholarship essay contest, with winners chosen at the chapter, state, division and national levels.
