Amy Dippel has been selected as the KRHS Educational Services Professional of the Year. She is a social worker in the Guidance Department and has been a vital team member since 2011.
She began her college education at Sussex County Community College. After receiving her Associates degree, she went to West Chester University to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She attended Marywood University to receive her Master’s in Social Work. Immediately after graduation, she worked for the Child Welfare Services for seven years. Wanting to work more closely with students, she decided to look for a job in education, and lucky for us, she applied at Kittatinny.
“I am honored to be chosen as the Educational Services Professional of the Year. I work hard to advocate and empower the students and families I work with. This is not a job I can do alone," she said. "I have to thank the people who work the closest with the Child Study Team and the Director of Special Services. I truly feel blessed to work with such an amazing team. Their support allows me to be the best version of myself for the students and their families.”
