New spiritual retreat center opens in Sussex County

Sussex County is welcoming a new spiritual retreat center, Serenity Lodge, located at 5 Sycamore Trail in Hampton Township (Kemah Lake community). The lodge is surrounded by 130 wooded acres.

The immediate yard features two koi and goldfish ponds with waterfalls and a connecting stream. The Lodge is on top of a hill, which is second in elevation only to High Point.

Serenity Lodge is currently featuring a series of four one-day retreats for women. In the near future the retreats also will be created for men, and for couples.

The agendas vary and each one will focus on several of the following areas: healing, affirmations, energy work, writing exercises, burning bowl, sacred objects and more. Every retreat will have special, guided meditations to center and ground the attendees in spiritual awareness.

Guests are asked to wear comfortable clothing and bring a pillow and/or mat.
