Newton Country Club chips for charity
ANDOVER — The Newton Country Club recently hosted its annual charitable golf outing.
Called Chipping In For Cancer, the beneficiary of this year's event was the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Aubrey Fund for Pediatric Cancer Research.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is a private institution devoted to prevention, patient care, research and education in cancer. Its scientists and clinicians generate innovative approaches to better understand, diagnose and treat cancer.

"Golfing in Scotland" was the theme for the day. After a beautiful day on the golf course, participants were treated to bagpipe music at a benefit dinner.
Many local businesses sponsored or donated prizes to the event.
More than $13,00 was raised at the event.
