NEWTON -
Spring Street in downtown Newton turned into an intimate alley welcoming wizards and muggles alike, this past Saturday, Nov. 24.
Owners of Spring Street businesses transformed their stores into Diagon Alley Shops, complete with floating candles, magic wands, and butter beer. While the turnout was noticeably less than last year, for wizard fans it was still magical, as many left with what they came for: a chance to feel closer to their beloved Harry Potter.
Among the many businesses involved were Between The Bread, Feels Like Home, Scissor Joint, El Paraiso Deli, La Famiglia Restaurant, Freebird Tattoo, Dollar Superstore, Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council, Maxwell & Mollys, Hayeks Market, Salon Di Panache, Decade of Memories, Sensible Addictions, Superior Shower Doors, Gravity Design Works, Penelopes Treasures, His N Hair, Johns Barber Shop, and Salon Fig.
