SCCC holds 'Impact of Media on Free Speech' panel discussion

    What constitutes free speech? What is the role of the media? The answers to these questions and more will be the focus of "The Impact of Media on Our Society's Free Speech," hosted by Sussex County Community College (SCCC). The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church, 111 Ryerson Avenue, Newton. Panelists include SCCC History Professor Josh Moser, SCCC student David Bryson, Attorney and Professor Judy Sullivan, and retired Police Lieutenant Robert Kalosy. The event will be moderated by SCCC Professor and Attorney Nancy Gallo. Professor Moser will speak about The Presidency vs The Press. The format will feature four panelists, with time for questions afterward.
    The event is free and open to the public.
