School district names student of the year

Andover — Andover Regional School District is proud to honor 8th grade student, Adam Kesselman, as Superintendent’s Roundtable award winner. Adam more than qualifies for this award as he has achieved high honor roll or honor roll status every marking period throughout his middle school career (grades 5-8). Additional academic honors Adam has earned include The Excellence in Mathematics award (Grade 6), enrolling in Honors Algebra 1, participating in the district Gifted and Talented program, and earning membership in the National Junior Honor Society.
Adam is quite active in school. His activities in school include Student Council (Senior Advisor), Peer Leaders, Student Government, Yearbook Committee, Band (jazz and concert), Chorus (select and general), Varsity Basketball, Track and Field, and handbell choir.
Adam’s high level of activity does not end when he leaves school. Outside of school Adam participates in travel baseball for AGX, AAU Basketball, and student teaching at Temple Shalom religious school. His hobbies include playing instruments and sports, watching football and spending time with family and friends.
In his immediate future Adam plans to move to Scottsdale, Arizona and attend Desert Mountain High School. His high school goals include continuing his academic success by enrolling in all honors or AP classes on the high school level.
