Stanhope - The Stanhope United Methodist Church, invites the community to a Souper Bowl Sunday worship event. This is a free event, open to the public. Arrive at 8:15 a.m. for to enjoy food prior to the 9:30 a.m. worship service, or stay after worship for “half time” food and fun. Wear a favorite team jersey. There will be family-friendly, fun games such as corn hole, and giant jinga. Attendees are asked to bring a can of soup to be donated to local food pantries. All are welcome. The United Methodist Church is located at 2 Route 183 in Netcong, NJ. The church is open to allowing the church to be used for personal or club events or meetings, in effort to be a supportive part of the community. For more information call 973-347-0247.
