Stanhope Fall Clean Community Day rescheduled for Oct. 27

Due to inclement weather, the Stanhope Fall Clean Community Day has been postponed. The day had been set aside for today, Oct. 20, to serve as an opportunity for residents to help clean up local parks and trails.
The new date is Oct. 27 at noon until 3:30 p.m. Anyone interested in helping clean up trails and local parks should meet on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Valley Road School, which is located at 24 Valley Road in Stanhope. High Schools students are welcome to participate, and may receive community service hours for participating.
The town advises to dress appropriately for the weather. Water, bags, and gloves will be provided.
