Stanhope United Methodist Church to hold shower for expectant moms Public invited to shower, asked to bring gifts for babies, moms, and Birth Haven

    The public is invited to participate in a shower at Stanhope United Methodist Church, 2 Route 183, Netcong, to benefit moms and babises of Birth Haven, Inc. in Newton, NJ at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019.
    The baby shower is open to the public. Attendees are asked to bring gifts for the babies, moms, or Birth Haven, from a list of requested items. All items need to be new and unwrapped. A speaker from Birth Haven will be share the services Birth Haven provides. The event includes games and a light lunch will be served.
    The mothers are in need of:
    Gift Cards (Gas cards, Wal-Mart, Shop Rite)
    New Pillows
    Bath towels
    Washcloths
    Twin size bed comforters
    Twin size sheet sets
    New bathrobes for moms
    New pajama’s for moms
    Slippers
    Shampoo, conditioner, hair brushes, and body wash
    Babies are in need of:
    Boy and girl baby clothes, sizes: newborn to 9 months
    Baby monitors
    Crib sheets
    Boppy pillows
    Baby laundry detergent
    Car seats and stroller combination sets in unisex colors
    The Birth Haven home is in need of:
    Toilet paper
    Paper towels
    Cleaning supplies (Lysol/Clorox wipes, Windex, etc.)
    Laundry detergent
    Garbage bags
    Birth Haven is an independent, nonsectarian, non-profit organization that provides shelter, support, and education for homeless, pregnant women and girls. Established in 1985, Birth Haven, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization, which supports pregnant girls and young women throughout New Jersey and the surrounding Tri-State area.
