    Julie E. Levine of Byram was one of 502 seniors who graduated from Colby College on May 26, receiving a bachelor of arts degree at the College's bicentennial-year commencement in Waterville, Maine. Levine, the daughter of Richard Levine and Susan Lasker of Andover, majored in psychology. She is a graduate of Lenape Valley Regional HS.

    Ashley May of Andover earned Honors and Emily Faller of Newton earned High Honors on the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the spring 2012/13 semester.

    Michael John Saladino of Newton, a 2013 graduate of The University of Scranton, received the Excellence in Biomathematics Award from the University at Commencement.

    Saladino double majored in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology and biomathematics. He is a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon (the national honor society for mathematics), Beta Beta Beta (the national honor society for biology) and the Health Professions Organization (HPO). Saladino will continue his education at The University of Scranton pursuing his master's degree in biochemistry. He also plans to attend medical school and become a surgeon.

    Saladino is a graduate of Newton High School in Newton.

    Drew University has named the following students to its Dean's List for the Spring 2013 semester: Gabriella Bisconti of Stanhope; Elena McKeown of Newton; and Heather Tynan of Newton.

    The following students graduated from Delaware Valley College Alyssa Dhawan of Andover; Donald Meisinger of Newton; and Steven Sheets of Newton.

    Megan Stobie graduated from Grove City College on May 18. Megan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Megan is a 2009 graduate of Newton High School and is the daughter of Gavin and Susan Stobie, of Andover

    John Pavlichko, aaccounting major and resident of Andover was among more than 650 students from Saint Francis University who made the Spring 2013 Dean's List.

    The following local students will be attending Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., during the fall as members of the Class of 2017: Brianne Alyssa Speranza of Andover, a graduate of Sussex County Technical School, who will be majoring in electrical engineering and William Nechay Hoer of Andover, a graduate of Pope John XXIII Regional High School, who will be majoring in university studies.

    Isaac Zappe, from Andover is among the 552 students who earned dean's list honors for the spring 2013 semester at Mount St. Mary's University.

    Natalie Kronish of Stanhope has been named to the UMass Dartmouth Spring 2013 Dean's List in recognition of earning a semester grade point average of 3.2 or higher of a possible 4.0.

    Newton resident Emily Martin was one of 651 students to graduate from Messiah College on May 18 during the College's annual commencement. Martin graduated magna cum laude with a degree in education dual certification: preK and special education.

    The University of Scranton has announced it's Dean's List, which included the following area residents: Melissa Calascibetta of Newton, a freshman with a accounting major in Scranton's Kania School of Management; and Kayla Kahn of Andover, a freshman with a counseling and human services major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies.
