Students make a difference

Bunda, Sophia Pasquale, Cecelia Paparella, Jenna Scerbo, Kaitlyn Dixon, Kasssondra Van Houten, and Marissa Dionne stepped up to make a positive difference by participating at the Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweeps. Lead by Alexa T. Bunda and Junior Beach Captain, Alexa made posters, T-shirts, and gathered volunteers to help increase youth participation at the semi-annual beach sweeps held throughout New Jersey. She acknowledges that in the bigger picture laws and company policies need to change to better protect our planet, but in the end every small act matters.
