Students visit Six Flags NEWTON. Junior high schoolers from KRHS recently visited Six Flags Great Adventure and attended lectures, and rode the roller coasters, in addition to receiving the Community Smile Program Award, recognizing all their hard work.

On Wednesday, May 29 several students from the KRHS Junior High student council went to Six Flags Great Adventure for the leadership award ceremony. The students attended lectures, received information about upcoming events, and went on some roller coasters. The Kittatinny Junior High schoolers received the Community Smile Program Award recognizing their hard work and dedication to volunteering in our community. Mrs. Shatrowskas and Ms. Heinke are “proud of this amazing group of young cougars.”
