"Traffic Slam's" poetry & art call for abolition
What's Traffick Slam? It's a New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking-sponsored event that is a combination of poetry, art, and a call for an end to human trafficking. More than 140 civil society groups, houses of worship, law enforcement agencies, and civic groups form the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking (NJCAHT), which aims to end trafficking locally, statewide, nationally, and globally. Events like this turn the focus to a crime that is all around New Jerseyans every day, whether they realize how pervasive it is, or not. Come to the event, meet others who aim to end modern slavery, and become an abolitionist.
The Coalition is currently accepting sponsorships for the event, which will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Imperia's Cristal Ballroom in Somerset, NJ.
