Troop 85 join the Bowmen

GREEN — Boy Scout Troop 85 were invited by the Appalachian Bowmen to join them one Tuesday evening for an open archery shoot. The Bowmen have an indoor range inside an old cow barn in Green. The Scouts had fun shooting standard targets as well as some reactionary ones. More advanced shooters took their mark at animal targets. Scouts brought their friends and family to join them. Troop 85 participates in approximately two activities a month and meets at 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the American Legion Post 86, 20 Yates Avenue in Newton. For more information visit www.troop85nj.com.
