Local students win public service awards

Four area students submitted winning entries to the Center for Prevention and Counseling’s annual public service announcement contest for April’s alcohol awareness month. The students were able to visit WSUS 102.3 radio station to record their 30 second message answering the question: “When alcohol comes your way, what will you say?” The students were excited to share their messages with youth and parents in the Tri-state listening area with their proactive and positive responses.
