Longaberger honors local home consultant

Augusta - The Longaberger Company recognized Patricia Tino of Augusta as a V.I.P. Level I Award Recipient at its annual convention, The Bee, held in Columbus, Ohio. Patricia has been an independent home consultant for the Newark, Ohio, based company since 1999. She is one of nearly 60,000 independent home consultants who market and sell Longaberger products through direct sales in all U.S. states. Longaberger is famous for its handcrafted baskets and also offers other home and lifestyle products, including pottery, wrought iron, fabric accessories and specialty foods. The company’s high-quality baskets are prized by thousands of collectors. Tino is known locally for her dedication to helping nonprofit organizations to raise money through fundraisers featuring Longaberger products. Among the organizations she has sponsored are the Sparta’s Woman’s Club, Sussex County Big Brothers/Big Sister, Wallkill Valley and High Point Regional High Schools, Frankford Township Elementary School and the American Cancer Society.
