Sparta — As an inspirational mid-winter pick-me-up the Upper School Student Council at Hilltop Country Day School recently planned a Spirit Week of activities for the student body. The kindergarten through eighth-grade students were asked to participate in a different activity each day. To kick off the week, there was Crazy Hair Day, followed by Pajama Day and School Colors Day. On the final day of the week, all grades were invited to create a Hilltop cheer to be presented at a pep rally. The Student Council was very successful in their attempt to inspire their fellow students to be very creative with the variety of activities during the week. Spirit Week complemented the school’s mission in regard to being committed to providing an environment where the students may grow in creativity, self-esteem and self-confidence.
