Sparta - The annual Main Street festival at the Sparta Athletic Club will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 22. The event, to help raise funds for Pass It Along, will include a business expo, 5K run, silent auction, food, music, door prizes, activities for children and adults, petting zoo and pony rides, bounce houses, and complimentary massages. The community event will attract over 500 runners and walkers from N.J., N.Y. and Pa., and as many spectators and families. Andy Ball, race director and club manager, said he expects a larger attendance than ever, thanks in part to the unique festivities and large expo planned this year. Runners should bring a change of clothes and are invited to stay for the festivities.
