‘Mothers & More' hosts open house Oct. 27

Oak Ridge -The Northwest New Jersey chapter of Mothers & More will hold an open house at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church, 321 Oak Ridge Road. The event will introduce women to the services offered by Mothers & More, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. The group has 7,000 members nationwide. The open house will be held without children and will feature a party-style format with appetizers and refreshments and door-prizes to be given away throughout the night. The local chapter holds two meetings a month with topical discussions and/or guest speakers, in addition to mom’s nights out, movie nights, children’s activities, playgroups, skill-building, volunteer opportunities and more.
