New JCSC executive board ready for action

Rabbi Cathy Felix of the Jewish Center of Sussex County formally installed the newly elected members of the JCSC’s executive board at Friday evening services. The synagogue, with members from Sussex and Morris County, is located at 13 Washington Street in Newton. The first order of business for the new board was to hold a long range planning meeting during which they and interested members revised the synagogue’s mission statement to reflect the needs and interests of its members. Fall is a busy time for the JCSC with ongoing Hebrew School registration and preparations for upcoming High Holy Days.
