New law office in Sparta to specialize in social security disability cases

Sparta - Maryjean Ellis has opened the Law Office of Maryjean Ellis, LLC, in Sparta. She will concentrate her practice in disability law matters, including the representation of claimants of Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability/SSI benefits. She has a particular interest in serving individuals challenged by mental illness. Ellis has appeared in compensation courts throughout most of N.J., representing both injured workers and employers. She is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and a professional member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness-N.J. She participates in the Justice James H. Coleman Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court. Ellis belongs to the Sussex County Bar Association and the N.J. State Bar Association. She graduated from Pope John XXIII Regional High School, Rutgers University (B.A. in psychology, with high honors), and Seton Hall University School of Law (cum laude). Ellis and her husband, John, reside in Sparta. She is the daughter of Bernard and Marie Glow of Stockholm. The new office is located at 235 Woodport Rd., Suite H-5, in Sparta.
