New members on executive board for Jewish Center

Newton - The Jewish Center of Sussex County will celebrate the installation of its new Board of Directors at services on Friday, August 18. Rabbi Cathy Felix will welcome Executive Board members Les Agius of Sparta, President; Rob Richman of Ledgewood , Vice President; Meryl Engle of Vernon, Secretary; and Fred Bonis of Franklin as Treasurer. Committee chairpersons include Neil Lewinter, Larry Anker, Vladimir Meskin, Sheryl Neuhs, and Robert Castelucci. The new board and chairpersons will undertake several projects including a major renovation of property across the street from the Synagogue as well as beautification plans for the Synagogue. Members are welcome to attend the August Long-Term Planning meeting scheduled for later this month. The Jewish Center of Sussex County, along with Friday night and Saturday morning services, provides after school Hebrew School, Sunday school classes, and High Holy Day Services.
