On Thursday, June 29, Byram elected Jill Carey as the new Miss Byram 2006. Carey is a Lenape graduate and currently attends Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. As Byram’s new ambassador, Carey will represent the municipality in the Queen of the Fair contest to take place in August.
