Newton Memorial Auxiliary offers scholarships

NEWTON — The Auxiliary of Newton Memorial Hospital has announced that it is offering three annual scholarships; two for individuals that choose to pursue nursing and another for a health-related related career. The scholarships are available to senior high school students attending Sussex County schools and North Warren Regional High School. Applicants should have good scholastic records, an interest in nursing or health-related careers and plan to attend college or an RN nursing program. Each scholarship is for $1,500. Application packets are now available at all Sussex County High School guidance offices. Packets must be returned to the Auxiliary Office, Newton Memorial Hospital, 175 High St., Newton, NJ 07860 no later than April 1. The recipients will receive their scholarship awards at the Auxiliary’s Annual Luncheon Meeting, in June.
