Newton Memorial teaches basic life support and first aid

NEWTON - Newton Memorial Hospital wants to educate the public in basic life support and first aid at sessions offered monthly at Newton Memorial, the Sparta Health and Wellness Center and Milford Health and Wellness Center. The following classes will be starting in January: •Healthcare Provider CPR will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 17 and Wednesday, Jan. 24 between 7 and 10 p.m. at the hospital •Healthcare Provider Renewal will be held Saturday, Jan. 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sparta Health and Wellness Center and again on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the hospital.
