    July 27 Officers observed a vehicle, a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, being operated on Adams Street at 7:20 p.m.and saw a bottle thrown out of the driver’s side window and stopped the car in the area of Union Place. The vehicle was occupied by four males; William Collins age 21 of Lafayette, Joshua Flores age 21 of Branchville, Joshua Southworth age 18 of Newton and Steven D’Amato age 18 of Wantage Twp.Officers observed marijuana in the vehicle and were assisted at the scene by County Sheriff’s Officer Chris Bork and his narcotics K-9 “Gunny”. Flores had purchased alcoholic beverages which were found in the vehicle and made them available others under the legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Another bottle was located belonging to D’Amato. The four were placed under arrest and a further search of the person of D’Amato revealed that he was in possession of a small bag of cocaine and a razor blade. Joshua Southworth -possession of marijuana William Collins -possession of marijuana collins was additionally charged with motor vehicle offenses of refusal to inspect, maintenance of lamps, littering from a motor vehicle and possessing a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.The four subjects were processed, served their respective summonses and released pending their appearance in court Officers and Sheriff’s Officer Chris Bork investigated a suspicious vehicle at 10:42 p.m. in a parking lot on Woodside Avenue. It was occupied by two males; Joseph Vandermark age 19 of Hampton Twp and a 17 year old juvenile. Marijuana was observed inside and a search was conducted of the vehicle with S/O Bork’s narcotics detection K-9 “Gunny”.Marijuana weighing approximately one half pound was found in the vehicle along with numerous items of paraphernalia, specifically; plastic baggies, a grinder, a digital scale and rolling papers.Vandermark was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of cds paraphernalia, He was released pending court appearance. The juvenile was charged with the same offenses on juvenile delinquency complaints and was lodged in the Sussex County Detention Center.
