    Police arrested Terrance L. Cooper, 42. of 91 Main Street at 7:03 p..m. Monday May 7 on a warrant. Cooper, who police say is unemployed was visiting friends at 96 Main Street ,Newton. A cooperative investigation between the Newton Police Department and the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force resulted in the warrant. Cooper was charged with distribution of crack cocaine on two separate > dates: March 26 and March 29, third degree crimes. He was also charged with selling drugs within 1000 feet of St. Joseph’s School, also a third degree crimes. A third charge was selling drugs within 500 feet of the Dennis Memorial Library, a second degree crimes. Cooper was incarcerated in the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, without a 10 percent option.
